Unlike most upcoming "rappers" nowadays (especially in Brevard county) Mr. Knives proves hes got what it takes to be a relevant artists in today's music game; he's witty, creative/innovative, has dope song scenarios and subject matter, he produces his own beats, he's a certified audio engineer, and overall hes DIFFERENT. Isn't that the direction hip hop is moving in (on some be yourself type shit)? Most would agree that today's hip hop has changed for the better within the "mainstream" industry. Which is awesome for MC's like Jonny Knives who aren't afraid to step out of the box.. fortunately he's able to take a shot at it without having to only appeal to the "underground hip-hop" crowd.
